Dedicated $10K Alpaca paper account, fully automated, trading 25 crypto pairs 24/7 — buys $400 (market) the moment a pair matches the same BO15 rule adapted for crypto (backtested 2026-10-04 against Robinhood's real tradable-crypto list, market cap >= $100M: 216 trades across 55 pairs, 75.0% win rate, +3.48% avg return, profit factor 4.45 over a 60-day window — 25 of those 55 are also tradable on Alpaca and make up this account's live universe): Daily EMA20>50 AND Price>Daily SMA200, 4H EMA20>50 (plain UTC-floor 4-hour blocks — crypto has no market-hours session to split at, unlike the equities rule), 1H RSI<45, and a plain 15m breakout (close above the ENTIRE previous 15m candle, wick included). No Supertrend anywhere in the entry rule. Checked every 15 minutes, 24/7, from each pair's current state — see Trade Crypto for the live condition breakdown on all 55 tracked pairs, including 30 more Robinhood-tradable ones shown for manual reference only. Sells when 15m RSI reaches 80 (RSI Exit below). When all 25 slots are full, a new match is skipped rather than rotating out an existing position (no rotation logic yet for crypto). A repeat detection on the same symbol within 3% of its last entry price is ignored (no re-trade, no re-alert) — only the first detection in a price cluster is acted on. No manual buys; "Close" below is a manual override. Click "Overrule" on any open position to stop the bot from selling it — no RSI exit — until you un-overrule it or close it yourself; use it when you want to hold past the standard exit rule. Buy/sell fills email you automatically.
Same 5-condition BO15 rule validated on equities, applied to Robinhood's real tradable-crypto list (fetched directly from its public API, market cap >= $100M) via yfinance (fixed 2-year daily / ~700-day 1H / 60-day 15m windows, 4H rebuilt as plain UTC-floor blocks since crypto has no market-hours session to split at). Bad-tick trades (|return| > 30%, almost always a thin-liquidity data glitch, not a real move) excluded before scoring. Full writeup: Crypto Backtest.
| Universe | Trades | Win rate | Avg return | Profit factor |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| All 55 pairs ($100M+, Robinhood-tradable) backtest | 216 | 75.0% | +3.48% | 4.45 |
| 25 live-tradable on Alpaca (what's actually live here) — subset of the 55 above | 107 | 69.2% | +2.87% | 3.73 |
| 30 signal-only (Robinhood, not Alpaca) — manual reference only | 109 | 80.7% | +4.08% | 5.20 |
The 25-pair live universe isn't the better-performing half — it's simply every $100M+ Robinhood pair Alpaca actually supports (checked against its real asset list, not assumed). The 30 signal-only pairs backtest a bit stronger (80.7% vs 69.2% win rate) but can't be auto-traded here; they're shown on Trade Crypto with buy/sell flags for manually trading on Robinhood if you choose to act on one yourself. Only a 60-day window (yfinance's hard limit for 15m data), so treat this as a first signal, not a long-run edge — revisit once real paper-trade history accumulates here.
